Nesting

This is a awesome and a once in a lifetime shot. Great Job.

There are several things that would have made this photo better:

There is something to the left on the side that distracts the viewer. It is still a great photo, but it detracts from the hummingbird itself.
The lighting is ok. It seems like the flash put a light shadow on the back of the bird. The color of the leaves stand out more than the bird, and a different angle of flash would help bring out the bird's irridecence (spell?).
The only other thing I would say is a slightly different angle. It looks as if the spot on the tree is part of its beak.

Otherwise, this photo is great. You captured an awesome scene not many see, and the orientation turned out perfect.
